Auckland Lantern Festival

This post reflects Auckland’s increasingly diverse and rapidly rising multicultural aspects. The multicultural communities here have established themselves as a culturally vibrant group and have grown into an integral part of the city. Many traditions that were brought to Auckland by these diasporas have been maintained and seen transitions with every passing year.

Auckland Lantern Festival – celebrating Chinese New Year with a style!

The festival was full of shimmer, illumination, crafts, music, and yummy food delicacies. There was so much to enjoy and celebrate for each and everyone.

Here’s a glimpse of what I could capture from the day –
